We put up some wall graphics about the crib, gave the bedding a test drive and played with the mobile…

First steps towards creating our nursery

Mike worked really hard and long in the heat to get the first pieces of furniture we’ve bought assembled and up today. It was boiling hot in the room, and he spent most of the day building Ikea’s finest baby selections. Still, it looks great. The crib will go where the blanket is when it arrives.

In the closet… a shelving unit waiting to be filled. Toys and books and clothes, oh my! :)
