What is, for many Americans today, a feeling hope, is for me a sense of relief.  Perhaps the current incarnation of the GOP, characterized by divisiveness and bigotry, is mercifully coming to a close. I hope that our son’s formative years are never marred by such blighted leadership.

A special parting message for the Republicans: if I want your opinion on moral issues, I’ll ask (hint: don’t hold your breath).  Good riddance.
