{ Cheese ‘n Pickles }

This weekend I came across a recipe for lemon verbena ice cream.  We happen to be growing some lemon verbena and had some left over cream in the fridge, so this was a natural one to try.  Lemon verbena is more typically associated with fragrances and teas, so this is certainly an unusual ice cream flavor.  It was quite good.  It had a wonderful lemon flavor along with a very pleasant herbal character.
