Baby Boy update – 31 weeks

Baby boy and I had a doctor’s appointment on Friday.  He continues to do well, and his heart rate was nice and strong.  He’s still measuring big – 32 centimeters which puts him in the 75th percentile.  But most importantly, he’s healthy and doing well which is always great to hear.  Baby boy and I [...]

Mets Haiku

For Wednesday Night:
Season on the brink.
O Captain! My Captain! Sigh.
Tough on the heart, soul.
And Thursday:

And here is a better view of the lake:

Heather’s Latest Kitchen Work

Earlier in the week Heather crafted a Foccacia-style pizza based on a recipe from Cook’s Illustrated. It was delicious, although Heather already noted some portions of the recipe that she would handle differently.

Later in the week we had a Caprese salad crafted from a variety of tomatoes
